It took a while to continue my next post as I was away for a long weekend. So here I am to share my experiences, one of best three days of my life. I was away to Lake Tahoe and Yosemite which are 4 hours drive each, from the place I stay . These two places have one thing in common which is scenic beauty.
We started around 6 in the morning that was the first time I saw how Sunnyvale (the place I stay) looked like. O boy it’s so beautiful. I never thought morning would be this fabulous, AS US being a place of greenery one cannot stop loving the nature. But our tour didn’t start that great as we thought, our car broke down within 4 miles, some kind of smoke was coming out from the tires of the car...we had to park the car on shoulder of the highway, as we rented car..it was easy for us to replace…so we called them the car has been towed, A cab been sent to take us back to the place where we can exchange for another car. In this mess I forgot my mobile in the car which has been towed. O man can’t tell you what a mess, but one good thing is I got my cell phone back. After the entire circus we managed to get new car and started off Lake Tahoe around 90clock.IT was four and half hour drive. It was a easy hassle free drive as we had magic of GPS .We reached lake Tahoe round 13:00 P.M.We checked in to the hotel around 13.30…we were hungry to death but soon realized we don’t have time to eat anything as last trip for Gondola ride was at 14:30. So had to adjust our self with a coffee, around 14.00 we were all set for Gondola ride. It was 15 min walk from the hotel we stayed, we reached around 14.15 got tickets to much awaited Gondola ride. We took the tickets, we waited in the queue and finally must tell you the it was awesome overview of the Lake Tahoe the was like blue carpet…there were two stops of the ride .Each stop has its own beauty of the lake …which was so scenic ,for a moment we were mesmerized. Second Stop was not enthusiastic as we were running out of time. So we couldn’t stay for long, But we didn’t feel like moving from there ,but we had to .
Now our food was major issue for us. As we are like hardcore vegetarians…we were left with less options..it’s like we don’t have much choice rather than eating what was there, Luckily we found a dominos for that day and had it .We had our lunch by 4 and kind of set for another plunge in to scenic beauty. In fact we want to go to Northlake (as we are staying in south which is quite far from) but we r quite late so we planned to spent rest of the evening sitting near the lake. The hotel in which we were staying was rite opposite to the Southlake and our room had lake view facing. We headed for a walk near the lake. It was a quite romantic walk as shown in movies we were walking in the sand and sun was shying away from us. We walked almost 5 miles. There was pier so went there, it had clear view of the lake and we could actually see the sunset. Indeed it was the best day of our lives.we sat on the pier and were so lost in the nature we didn’t knew when the clock struck and we had to head back our hotel. This was our day one experience more to come..
